iFilm English TV to air finale for ‘Green Roads of the North’

iFilm English TV Channel has been set to air the final episode of ‘Green Roads of the North’ on Thursday night.

The final episode of the series, produced by Asghar Zaeri and directed by Abbas Rafei, will be aired on August 17, 2023.

The series is about an old lady, a mother of five, who lives with one of her sons in the northern region of Iran.

An older boy from the north calls his brother’s school and informs them that it has been a few days since the mother left the house and no trace of her whereabouts could be found.

Notable on the cast list are Bijan Emkanian, Habib Esmaeeli, Nasrin Moqanlou, Mina Norouzifar, Hamid Lolaee, Farideh Daryamaj and Mahnaz Afzali.

‘Green Roads of the North’, produced in 2002, will be replaced by ‘Zaferani’.
